New Page Live: Helping Renters Decide on Tenant Insurance

Last week I launched CompareTenantInsurance.com as a little side project — just me tinkering with AI to see if I could make tenant insurance comparisons quicker and easier. Since then, I've been adding/changing things here and there to make the site more useful for quick decision making, and today I'm posting the first real update.

I just published a new page on the site called "Should You Get Tenant Insurance in Canada?" 🎉

The Problem I Noticed

When I first built the comparison tool, I realized it only really helps if you already know you need tenant insurance. But what if you're not even sure whether it's worth having in the first place? That's where this new page comes in.

What's On The New Page

It breaks things down in simple terms:

  • What tenant insurance actually covers (and what it doesn't)
  • Typical cost ranges
  • A few real-life scenarios (students, roommates, long-term renters, etc.)
  • A quick framework to help you decide if it makes sense for you

  • The idea is to give renters a clear starting point — especially if you've never bought tenant insurance before and don't even know what to look for.

    What's Next

I'll keep working on adding and modifying things on the website to help people make quicker decisions, alongside the comparison tool, so the site becomes more useful step by step.

Hope this one helps someone out there ✌️
